For families where both parents work, the hard part was never finding a good preschool morning. It was the six hours after it ends.
Iris Bloom now runs daycare from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm, Monday to Saturday, in the same building, with the same teachers, for children aged 1.5 to 6. Your child doesn't get handed to a different set of adults at lunchtime — the afternoon is simply a continuation of their day.
Most families pick one and stay. If your week changes, so can the plan — we'd rather move you than lose you.

The morning is the preschool programme. What follows is built to wind down, not to fill time.
A calm, quiet start — books, puzzles and breakfast brought from home, with a teacher already in the room.
Your child joins their own programme — Playgroup, Nursery, LKG or UKG — exactly as day children do.
A sit-down meal from the lunch box you pack, eaten as a group. Table habits get taught here as much as anywhere.
Cots, dimmed lights and a story. Children who no longer nap get quiet time with books instead of being made to lie still.
An afternoon snack, then the covered play area or the garden depending on the weather.
Art, blocks, pretend play and reading. Unstructured on purpose — after a full morning, children need to choose.
The same secure pick-up card system as the preschool day. Later collection until 7:30 pm can be arranged in advance.
Leaving a small child somewhere for nine hours is a bigger ask than leaving them for four. These are the things that make it defensible.
Afternoons are run by the teachers your child already knows, not a separate evening shift. The face at 5 pm is the face from 10 am.
Photo updates through the afternoon, not only the morning. A long day away shouldn't mean less information for you.
Same named adults, same pick-up card, same photo ID for anyone else — a later hour changes nothing about who can collect your child.
Afternoon places are limited like every other place here. Daycare only works if the ratio holds at 5 pm as well as 10 am.

Lunch is the home-cooked box you pack, eaten together as a group at 1:00 pm. Nap time follows at 2:00 pm with cots, dimmed lights and a story. Children who have outgrown napping get quiet time with books rather than being made to lie still.
Later collection until 7:30 pm can be arranged in advance and is charged as an extension. We ask you to book it rather than spring it on us, so a teacher is rostered to stay rather than caught out.
Yes — our flexi-day plan lets you book specific days month by month, subject to availability on each of them. We cap afternoon numbers the same way we cap class sizes, so flexi days depend on a place being free.
Daycare is charged on top of the programme fee and depends on which plan you use — full day, after-school or flexi days. We'll give you the written breakdown for your child's combination at your visit.
Most schools show you the 10 am version. Ask to visit at 4 pm — that's the hour that tells you whether daycare here is really run or merely offered.
