Nursery school in Sector 116, Noida
Language arrives fast at this age, and curiosity arrives with it. Nursery children ask why about everything, and the answer they get shapes whether they keep asking.
Our nursery year channels that energy through stories, songs, art, pretend play and early concept work — building vocabulary, early numeracy and the social skills that make the classroom feel like a place they belong.

Inside Nursery at Iris Bloom
Language and early phonics
Sound recognition, rhyming, picture books and daily conversation. We build listening and speaking confidence before any formal reading work begins.
Fine-motor and art corners
Threading, tearing, pasting, painting and clay. Every one of these is quietly preparing the hand and the grip for writing later.
Numbers in real situations
Counting snack pieces, sorting blocks by colour, matching shapes. Number sense that comes from handling things sticks better than number sense from a worksheet.
Playing together properly
Group games and pretend play where children have to negotiate, take turns and handle not always going first — the real social curriculum of this year.
What a Nursery day looks like
A welcome circle, a themed learning block, free choice across art, blocks, books and pretend-play corners, a shared snack, outdoor or covered play, and phonics or storytime before pick-up.
We run Monday to Saturday, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. See the rooms this happens in.
By the end of the year
Children develop at their own pace and we never treat this as a checklist. It's what we're working towards together.
- Speaks in full sentences and can describe what happened in their day
- Recognises letter sounds and rhyming patterns
- Counts with meaning, and sorts and matches confidently
- Holds a crayon with control and attempts pre-writing strokes
- Plays cooperatively and asks an adult for help when they need it
